This is a nightmare scenario.
Believe it or not, the far-left is already hinting at the possibility of failed 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton running once again in 2024.
The folks over at 19FortyFive, are claiming that Hillary could have a viable shot at the 2024 presidential election due to a number of reasons including the fact that President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ poll numbers are currently in the gutter.
Furthermore, Fox’s Tucker Carlson also believes that Hillary Clinton will kickstart another 2024 presidential run as well.
While we still have to see what happens in the midterm elections, the possibility of Hillary running isn’t that crazy. 19FortyFive explained that if the Democrats get clobbered in the midterm election, the party will be looking for a leader other than Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton could be the perfect person.
They further played with the idea of a Hillary 2024 run and even went as far as predicting who would be a good running mate for Clinton.
Three possibilities were: Vice President Kamala Harris, Rep. Liz Cheney and even Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
The idea of Hillary Clinton selecting Republican Liz Cheney isn’t as crazy as it sounds. When Trump was running the idea of him selecting a Democratic Vice President was floated a number of times. With Liz Cheney’s current standing in the GOP there is little doubt that she would turn down a chance to run with Clinton in the near future.
While Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is still young, she will be qualified to run in 2024 as a Vice President if selected in 2024. If Hillary was to pick AOC as her running mate she would immediately garner the support of former Bernie Sanders voters. However, the Clinton-AOC ticket is an unlikely one due to the fact that Hillary Clinton has slammed “the squad” in the past by suggesting they were too far-left.
