Pelosi is drunk with power!
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi recently travelled to Lisbon, Portugal, to attend the NATO parliamentary assembly and also formally accept her Inaugural Women For Peace and Security Award.
During her speech at the assembly, Pelosi raises several eyebrows when she accidentally said what she would do “if she ruled the world” then quickly changed the subject.
During her acceptance speech Pelosi can be seen saying, “When people ask me if you ruled the world, what one thing would you do? I think about that a lot.”
Pelosi then paused, likely realizing that she accidentally said too much, and then said, “Or if any of us rule the world, what one thing would we do? And that would be easy. It would be to prioritize the education of women and girls. It would make the biggest difference not only in their lives, their families, their communities, but to the world.”
