Here is what you CAN’T do if unvaccinated according to Biden.
Under the direction of President Biden, the Homeland Security has just announced that anyone applying for U.S. citizenship must be fully vaccinated to apply. This new mandate takes effect October 1st, 2021.
According to Best Line Online, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services said in a statement, “We are updating our policy guidance in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Aug. 17, 2021 update to the Technical Instructions for Civil Surgeons.”
“The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) has recommended COVID-19 vaccination for the age-appropriate, general U.S. population. Therefore, COVID-19 vaccination now meets the criteria for required vaccinations and is a requirement for applicants eligible for the vaccine,” the CDC said.
Currently, any immigrants hoping to gain U.S. citizenship must take either the Moderna, Pfizer, or Johnson & Johnson. However, the CDC has asked the government to expand the vaccine selection to what the World Health Orginization approves which are the AstraZeneca-Oxford, Sinopharm, and Sinovac vaccines as well.
