<p class="wp-block-paragraph">We pray no one&#8217;s ever caught in a mass shooting, but we cannot just pray. If you find yourself in this scary situation here&#8217;s what you need to do.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">The Most Sensible Move &#8211; ESCAPE</h3>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In the last article we mentioned making sure you know where all of the exits are and to stay close to them. When bullets start flying, grab your family and <strong>GET THE HELL OUT!</strong></p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Your Second Option &#8211; TAKE COVER</h3>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This isn&#8217;t an action movie, you can&#8217;t just hide behind a thin door or turned over table. Get yourself behind <strong>SOLID cover</strong>. That means concrete walls, a different floor altogether, etc. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Do not close your eyes, cover your face, or freeze in place. You need to think fast!</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">When You Have No Other Choice &#8211; FIGHT!</h3>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Some critics say this isn&#8217;t a wise plan. However, when you have no where to run and no where to hide, the last thing you want to be is a sitting duck.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Now remember this is your absolute LAST option and you should consider all other options first. If you have your weapon and hopefully you have been training, you may have a chance.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">FINAL WORDS</h3>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And the last piece of advice left to give is <strong>NEVER LET YOUR GUARD DOWN</strong>.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Even when the attack is over stay alert and don&#8217;t consider yourself safe until you are home or police say otherwise.
