Pelosi Gets The Worst News Yet

Is Pelosi done as House Speaker?

As you may already know, many top political experts have been predicting that the upcoming 2022 midterm elections are going to be a losing battle for House Democrats but things are looking darker than expected for the Democrats.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who hopes keep Democrats in power in the House, just got even worse news because the 31st Incumbent Democrat has just announced that he is no longer seeking re-election!

CBS’ Jim DeFede recently announced on Twitter, “CBS has learned Rep. Ted Deutch, who has served in Congress since 2011, will not run for re-election and is giving up his House seat representing Broward and Palm Beach to take a leadership position with a major Jewish American advocacy group. Story to follow.”

DeFede then explained, “Rep. Deutch is expected to join the American Jewish Committee. The @AJCGlobal describes itself as “the leading global Jewish advocacy organization” with offices across the US and around the world. A staunch supporter of Israel, the group also combats the rise of antisemitism.”

In a statement from Congressman Deutch, he stated, “After serving the public for more than 15 years, I have decided I will not seek re-election this November. Public service was instilled in me by my father who earned a Purple Heart in the Battle of the Bulge, and it has been a tremendous privilege to serve the people of Palm Beach and Broward Counties in Congress since 2010. I am incredibly grateful to my constituents for their support and friendship.”

House Speaker Pelosi is dreaming if she thinks that Democrats can keep control of the House this midterm elections.
