Just when Democrats couldn’t get any more foolish, leave it up to socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to prove to America just how insane they are.
Ocasio-Cortez is now trying to blame the skyrocketing crime going on in the state of New York to the fact that the child tax credit expired at the end of last year.
Essentially, AOC is saying that crime is happening because the government stopped giving out the child tax credit.
According to Fox, AOC, who is currently also trying to flip Texas into a blue state, claimed to have spoken to a number of “hospitals, doctors and social workers” and learned that much of the crime happening in New York is being caused by mainly young men.
“And we allow the discourse to make it sound as though it’s, like, these shady figures in the bush jumping out from a corner. These are young men. These are boys. We’re also not discussing the mental health crisis that we are experiencing as a country as a result of the pandemic,” Ocasio-Cortez explained.
She then claimed that the child tax credit ended for millions of families and thats why people are being forced to “steal baby formula.”
Ocasio-Cortez seems to think that everything that goes wrong in a blue state isn’t because of President Biden or the Democrats, but because the government isn’t giving people enough money.
