Ever since coming to office, President Biden has taken loss after loss but it now looks like he has finally had his first major win.
It is now being reported that President Biden and the U.S. special forces took out the leader of ISIS during a raid in northern Syria. As soldiers began to close in the ISIS leader, Abu Ibrahim al-Hashemi al-Quraishi, detonated a bomb which resulted in his death along with a number of his family members.
According to Newsmax, President Biden stated, “Last night at my direction, U.S. military forces in the northwest Syria successfully undertook a counterterrorism operation to protect the American people and our Allies, and make the world a safer place.”
Biden further noted, “Thanks to the skill and bravery of our Armed Forces, we have taken off the battlefield Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi—the leader of ISIS. All Americans have returned safely from the operation.”
Following the explosion which was done solely by Quraishi, a senior U.S. administration official explained, “At the beginning of the operation the terrorist target exploded a bomb that killed him and members of his own family, including women and children.”
When the media pressed Biden about the death of women and children during the operation, Biden stated, “We do know that as our troops approached to capture the terrorist, in a final act of desperate cowardness, with no regard to the lives of his own families or others in the building, he chose to blow himself up.”
“Not just at the vest but to blow up that third floor, rather than face justice for the crimes he has committed, taking several members of his family with him just as his predecessor did,” Biden explained.
