This is insane!
In a unbelievable turn of events, it has just been revealed that the now fired Officer Derek Chauvin and George Floyd worked together at the same Minneapolis club up until the end of last year.
As you may already know, former officer Chauvin killed Floyd by pressing his knee into the back if Floyd’s neck during an arrest.
According to KSTP, a club owner reached out to news outlets and is claiming that the now-fired police officer and George Floyd “both worked security for her club up to the end of last year.“
“Chauvin was our off-duty police for almost the entirety of the 17 years that we were open,” Maya Santamaria said owner of the El Nuevo Rodeo club said. “They were working together at the same time, it’s just that Chauvin worked outside and the security guards were inside.”
Santamaria also claimed that even though the two worked many of the same nights at the night club she is unsure if they both actually knew each other.
