Democrats are beginning to sing a new tune.
We saw this coming from a mile away. Now, former Clinton advisor Dick Morris is claiming that Joe Biden might have a new challanger.
According to the Washington Examiner, Morris believes New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo will launch a last minute bid to steal the nomination away from Biden.
“Biden thinks he has the nomination sewed up, but I’m not so sure,” Dick Morris said.
“It is perfectly possible for Cuomo to replace Biden as the nominee. Biden has at the moment about 1,200 delegates, but you need 1,900 to win the nomination. And most of the states have postponed their primaries,” he stated.
“New York, with over 200 delegates, has postponed its primary until June 23, the last in the country. I don’t think that’s a coincidence,” he added. “I think Cuomo may have postponed it so that he would increase his chances. You could have a write-in movement for Cuomo.”
Just last week Cuomo said he isn’t interested in running for the presidency but we know all too well how quickly things change in the Democratic party.
