NY Gov. Cuomo Talks About Possible 2020 Run

Here’s what he had to say about it.

Liberals have come out of the woodwork and begged New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to somehow run against President Trump in the November election.

Now, according to Breitbart, Cuomo has confirmed that he is not running for the presidency.

I am not going to rise to the debate of a political challenge,” Cuomo stated. “I am not running for president. I was never running for president. I said from day one I wasn’t running for president.”

The Wall Street Journal reported that Cuomo grew to an approval rating of 87 percent following the coronavirus outbreak.

Before Cuomo’s statement, President Trump appeared on Fox and said, “I wouldn’t mind running against Andrew. I’ve known Andrew for a long time. I wouldn’t mind that, but I’ll be honest. I think he’d be a better candidate than Sleepy Joe.”

Cuomo appreciated the president words saying, “I thank the president because I take his comment as a compliment.”

“I am not engaging the president in politics,” Cuomo added. “My only goal is to engage the president in partnership. This is no time for politics.”
