President Trump looks to be preparing to make a major move which could shake up the country!
According to Reuters, the President “is considering declaring a national disaster to free up funds for the federal government’s response to the fast-spreading coronavirus outbreak, a source familiar with the matter said on Wednesday”.
This move “under the Stafford Act, could free up as much as $40 billion in immediate aid, according to Politico.”
Just a little while ago, President Trump even tweeted, “I am fully prepared to use the full power of the Federal Government to deal with our current challenge of the CoronaVirus!”

Shortly before that statement the president also wrote, “Someone needs to tell the Democrats in Congress that CoronaVirus doesn’t care what party you are in. We need to protect ALL Americans!”
“America is the Greatest Country in the world. We have the best scientists, doctors, nurses and health care professionals. They are amazing people who do phenomenal things every day,” Trump added. “Together we are putting into policy a plan to prevent, detect, treat and create a vaccine against CoronaVirus to save lives in America and the world. America will get it done!”
