This was long overdue…
Pelosi needed a reality check and now Mitch McConnell has just put her in her place.
According to the Gateway Pundit, just before the the impeachment vote, which acquitted President Trump of both charges against him, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell completely destroyed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
“We will reject this incoherent case that comes nowhere near—nowhere near—justifying the first presidential removal in history,” McConnell proclaimed.
“This partisan impeachment will end today. But I fear the threat to our institutions may not,” he added.
McConnell then zeroed in on Pelosi and stated, “The Speaker says she will just refuse to accept this acquittal – whatever that means”.
“Perhaps she will tear up the verdict like she tore up the State of the Union address,” he said.
